When Fidel was in charge, it absolutely was a dictatorship. That his brother took over from him is a little clue to that fact. Now I’m less certain. Since the Communist party in Cuba has some actually well meaning people in it, there’s a possibility that with the old guard dead or retired they may cease being a dictatorship.
Alot of people in the comments griping but it’s not hard to label a veggie patty a “veggie patty” or a “vegan patty” or a “mushroom patty” or to refer to the sandwich it winds up being a part of a “sandwich” instead of a “burger”.

Most of windows products get increasingly worse over time. Security updates aside, I’ve never understood why the didn’t just stop updating things to save themselves the money and save us the hassle.
Some people play games and some people live vicariously thru games. And alot of men in the US have been conditioned to expect to be the victims of violence or social ridicule if they’re suspected of being gay. I don’t agree with their discomfort but I understand why it happens.
I can’t imagine a more common perfunctory part of meeting someone new than asking about their occupation to the point that articles get written encouraging people not to for a variety of reasons. “Lets stop defining people by their occupation” etc etc.

We have school shootings because we live in a deeply diseased society; a corrupt and rapidly corroding end-stage capitalist oligarchy. We no more need gun prohibition to solve the problem then we need a massive police state. What we really need: Affordable housing, fair compensation for work, universal health care (including dental and mental health), affordable childcare, suitable free time for leisure, affordable cultural activities, public events that build a sense of community, political reform, media reform, an end to exploitation in any sphere of life. Build a health society and you’d be amazed how many of our problems just melt away but instead Billionaires insist on bigger mansions and yachts.

People hated you because you spoke the truth. You need all the things to survive. Everything OP listed AND a way for the community to see to it’s own defense. Which in the 21rst century means either guns, bows, or directed energy weapons.
