Hiii!!! Do any girls have any recommendations for tucking underwear (especially thongs) and swimsuits? It’s been a weird summer here but I do want to go swimming before summer is over and I’d love to skip the cover up shorts.
I’d love to hear what other girls have used!!!
fit4u are my goto. Way expensive but way effective
rubyshines is pretty neat but simple
(idk why my comment exploded into several comments)Instance being weird and returning errors even when it succeeds in posting.
Posting a comment is multiple steps, including automatically upvoting your own post. If any of those checks fails, the client assumes it failed to post.
Copy your message and check before retrying. Its happening a lot recently. It should be fixed at some point soon.
I got the slingshot gaff from enfemme. It’s great, I use it all the time. I have worn it under a swim skirt to the beach twice now and it’s held up well.
Taping is also an option I opt for at times. You can’t go to the bathroom if you’re taped up which can be an issue, but if you’re just going out for dinner or something short it’s fine. I kinda dread public bathrooms and almost never use them anyway even if I am using the gaff.
I’m a big fan of TomboyX. The durability is amazing and I’ve had my pairs for a few years now with no loose treads. They recently put out a new fabric weave that’s way more moisture-wicking that I also love.
I don’t recommend Leolines. All the pairs I’ve owned come apart right where the tuck is within a few months. It’s fixable, but I want a longer lifespan out of my garments before I have to get out my needle and thread.
I do have Leolines’ bikini bottom since I don’t swim often, so I can’t attest to their quality yet. I do like the simple design because you can wear it right underneath whatever swimsuit set you want.
I hope someday a company makes merino wool tucking underwear. Then I can die a happy woman.

It’s probably worth reaching out to some of the well known companies. They’re more inclined to make a product if they know there’s some demand for it. Plus, given how small/niche the market is there’s a good chance an actual person will see it at least.
Finding a size that will actually hold a tuck and also fit well is the hard part for me. Lexy B Blair thongs in medium work well, Little for Big in small are too tight but do hold, TomboyX in medium have too wide of a gusset but do hold. Little for Big got lose threads quickly but the others have held up. Two pairs of Kalon boyshorts in medium work okay for me in some pants.
I had success with gaff and go. A bit pricy, but effective and secure.
I’ve seen those, but I didn’t pull the trigger because of the price. Have you used other tucking underwear? Do you feel like it’s significantly different?
I used some others (can’t remember the name) but these are the only ones I can easily wear all day comfortably.
Only tuck friendly swimsuits I’ve seen are from leolines, but they’re pricey and I haven’t done much looking around. I just have a swim skirt I got from La Vie en Rose so I don’t need to worry about if I’m staying perfectly tucked. I really should do a beach day before summer is over…
