I hate how lying is just normal
This has been normal for a while too
As a child, I learned to read the fine print pretty fast because I was so upset when my Transformers didn’t transform like they did on the ads
They never came with a wall of blocks to smash through either :(
And then the adulthood realization, that not only did you never have quite the over-the-top advertised fun you salivated over - but actually, making what you were shown, that was even less fun than you did have.
So, ya know, I basically feel like it’s reasonable to go from pickin boogers and lookin at TV as a tot directly to

They’re just seeing that these ideas are popular and co-opt them, as usual. It’s not difficult to bastardized anything with a bit of lies and sell it to a layman.
I think they’re trolling. They’re trolling people who know what the words mean. And they’re trolling the people who don’t. Plus - the MSM will report on it and they can troll yet more with their official explanations.
