Yeah, but I am starting to suspect I’m a bad driver
I had once gone into a ditch (spinned out on an icy road) and landed in deep snow, also no injuries. This felt similar, no sudden crash, just a dangerous loss of control. I also kinda liked my car (as much as I can like a car, that is), and it sucks that I need to get a new one now.
The woman whose car I hit said she was in a few as well, also not her fault. Bad luck indeed. I apologized profusely, and she said that she knows it was obviously not on purpose and that shit happens.
If you mean the definite form, then no, Polish doesn’t have it. Learning English as a kid was difficult because no teacher could explain it to me in an understandable way.
I’ve been learning a little Romanian lately though and it is there. Romanian is such a weird language. The vocabulary is like a mixture of five other languages, the grammar has gendered words and conjugations, yet it has a strict word order, unlike Polish that thanks to the complex grammar allows for very free reordering.
From now on I’m calling my girlfriend “my microscopic mite”
It was the fleas, leave rats alone
Chemistry has never been my strong suit. But… is metal alloys having lower melting points than the constituent metals (I think that is true at least?) related to the same mechanic?
I don’t agree it has been “cheapened”, its meaning depends on the relationship itself. I am currently in a new relationship, we’ve been together for 3 months. I am the kind to be more affectionate, and am often saying that I like her. I sometimes get that back, but I wish it was more often, as I like confirmation and affection too (and I told her that much). But saying “I love you” would be… very significant for me, and we are really not there yet. And also, from what I understand about her previous history, she might very well never have been quite there, despite having been in a very long relationship, so uh, yeah. Knowing that, if I heard her say “I love you” to me, it’d be extremely meaningful.
No, I just put a little water and the “marinade” (soy, liquid smoke and spices) in the dry granulate then knead it vigorously until the liquids are absorbed and it has the consistency of wet dough. The granulate is one of the cheaper kinds, ordered it online but don’t remember exactly where.
I kinda freehand them everytime. But I first take an onion, chop it finely and fry it up a bit. Then I put in together with this cheap dried soy mince which I slightly hydrate and marinate in soy sauce, liquid smoke and a huge amount of different spices (cumin, cloves, herbs, nutmeg, etc, I forget all of it). I mix it with my hands thoroughmy, and also put a spoon of potato starch to make it hold together better, then make the balls and fry them.
I usually cook without oil, but these things need a little oil in the pan to be best
Do you think it would work with no oil at all?
It was fun, I liked it a lot. I played the old demo (I think it was the Griffin temple?) and liked it, I also wrote some feedback back then. The graphics and music are very cool and cozy, I like the variety of environments, and the combat is pretty easy but feels nice and cool. I like the bosses (both here and in the old demo) not having a huge variety of movesets, this might be “simple” but well done.
The only comment I have is the platforming (again…), I feel timing the jumps gets a bit weird sometimes and I keep falling in. Might be a skill issue on my part though.
Also, I played on Linux, and it ran flawlessly.
I have successfully quit smoking twice. I know it sounds silly to say successfully when it happened twice, but still: I smoked for about 10 years, about half a pack to a pack (rarely more, if drinking heavily). Then I finally decided to seriously quit, cold turkey, and managed to stay off nicotine for over 3 years. At that point I periodically tested smoking again, by asking friends at parties like “hey can I just see if it does anything for me” and could literally not pull a proper drag even, I felt as if I lost the ability to smoke, similarly to how I was before even starting.
Then I had a very stressful situation in my life, bought a pack of cigarettes on a whim, and started smoking again. After about 6 months I decided that it was a super bad idea and stopped again. Now it’s been about 5 months clean, again.
Anyway, the first two weeks are the worst. If you get through them, it will get way easier. At this point I can’t stand the smell of smokers, i.e. them just standing close to me. Hydrate properly, have a snack, go for a walk (though admittedly walks can suck if you’re used to smoking on them).
Also not sure about the blunts slang, but I was able to smoke joints and take bong hits without nicotine addiction piping up.

This is exactly my take on Severance as well. I really loved S1 but got bored out of my mind and straight up frustrated with S2.
That’s a mouse though.
Rats usually can handle choking on their own. While they can’t burp or vomit, they have super complex throat muscles and can slowly back up a blocker object to clear the airways. But it wouldn’t surprise me if they also did first aid like the mice
Grooming is a heavily social behavior in rodents, so my guess is that it is used as a simple wellness check, to see how the choking party reacts and how severe the problem is
The biggest problem with AC Shadows is the perfect Japanese Assassin’s Creed game already came out. This studio called Mimimi Productions (two words, pronounced phonetically) came out of nowhere in 2016 and released this game called Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, then just dipped off the face of the earth.
It does everything an assassin’s creed game does, but better. And no one knows where they came from or has heard from them since.
Okay but for real Shadow Tactics is great, even if not really like AC. It’s more like a feudal Japan Commandos game.
It does say Kerala though
