I love her activism because she does the “what about the children” schtick but she actually means it, backs it up with action, and says it about shit that makes sense (child murder, starvation, etc). And what are people going to say? That Ms. Rachel doesn’t love children? Her entire public persona is built around caring for children. When she was first fundraising for Gaza, Zionists tried to say she didn’t care about Israeli children and all it took was a single TikTok of her crying to stop that shit dead in the water. Literally white woman’s tears weaponized against fascists and settler-colonialists. I don’t think she’s nearly as cynical as I’m framing it here, but she’s also not stupid and she knows what dynamics she’s operating within.
