  • New Tucker Carlson interview was a banger. Not because of Tucker, he’s a disgusting freak, but he had a Christian nun on who lives in Bethlehem and she was pretty cool. She pushed back when Tucker talked about Islamic terror and said there was none and that Hamas is a resistance group. Tucker kept trying to focus on Christians in Palestine and the nun repeatedly redirected the conversation to be about all Palestinians. There also wasn’t any antisemitism from what I could tell, this might unironically be a good thing to show your religious family members.

The sponsored segments though were absolutely unbelievable. Both times I literally went “oh, wow” out loud at the gym. The first ad read for some firearm company literally talked about how Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong and the second one was for a documentary about the Chinese government building a drug cartel in the rural United States. They were good reminders that although the interview had a lot of good messages in it, Tucker Carlson is a fucking demon and needs to get the gulag right next to all the genocide propagandists.

  • When evaluating the intelligence of something, humans greatly value the linguistic capabilities. LLMs are very good at language. I’d argue they’re better at it than the majority of people. But humans see ChatGPT’s linguistic capabilities and extrapolate that it must be intelligent and knowledgeable about anything, because we can’t fathom that something could talk like a Harvard professor yet not know how many Rs there are in “strawberry”. People also like that it will always give you an answer. It might not be the correct answer, but you can ask it anything and it will give you a confident response.

With governments, it’s partially that they’re idiots like everyone else and partially because they’re in the pocket of capital.

  • I just watched my dog’s brain short circuit. We have new neighbors and they have a small child, a little girl who’s like three years old. That little girl was just in their backyard, looking over the fence.

Now, my dog hates it when neighbors are in their backyard, she considers it a grave offence and will bark at them relentlessly. But she’s also very careful with small children (she’s a labrador retriever). So now there was this little girl who had the audacity to not just be in her own backyard, but at our fence going “Hi doggy!”.

So my dog lost it a little and started jumping in circles, barking at me instead. She was clearly upset that there was someone at our fence but she also couldn’t bark directly at the little girl.

  • Youtube has been recommending me shorts from this one channel called “Breezy Politics” which is some reactionary anti-zionist clip channel. There’s clips from Tucker and MTG but then there’s also clips from Mehdi Hasan’s recent Jubilee appearance. Just watched one where they called Mamdani an “America First” politician which I found funny.

Also from this channel I found out that Matt Gaetz has apparently joined the right-wing anti-Israel side.

Edit: Just saw Matt Gaetz talk about how Israel killed Shireen Abu-Akleh and he listed a few other Palestinian-Americans. That made me notice that they never mention Rachel Corrie, a blonde white girl, which should be right up their alley. Do they just not know about her? I don’t see any reason, not even a sinister one, for why you wouldn’t want to bring her up if you wanted to talk about how Israel kills Americans. They love yapping about the USS Liberty and that was decades ago, so it’s not like her death was too long ago.

Edit 2: Spamming Jackson Hinkle replies with “Never forget Rachel Corrie” would probably be decent propaganda to stoke the flames among anti-zionist reactionaries. Too cynical for me though.
