Insomniac code gorilla. I help maintain lemmy-ui and, to a lesser extent, Lemmy’s backend.
There’s even a youtuber with a tattoo of a nazi.
“<right wing person>, welcome to the resistance.” is a recurring meme here whenever someone makes milquetoast criticisms of Orange Hitler.
Everytime a landlord is executed, a red guard gets their little red book.
I believe South Park mocked Trump over his Epstein connections in the recent episode.
At least it’s nice and blue in there.

Season Six of “Blowback”?
I’ve never heard of it, and if it isn’t free on my Direct TV package, I won’t hear about it.
Now you’re making me think of Capital as a Real God.
Those are some adorable wolf/coyote looking things.
Maybe I should ask my doctor about this shit. I’ve avoided it out of fear of side effects and shame that it would be cheating, but I’m fat af and the beetus runs in my family.
I am now remembering the most American vehicle I had ever seen. I was driving to therapy and there was a pickup truck so massive that the top of the wall around its bed was taller than I am, and I’m a slightly tall person. On the rear windshield was a sticker with the text “My family” and several ARs underneath.
The Russo-Ukrainian War: The Return of History
Are there still people out there who believe Fuckface Fukuyama’s end of history nonsense? I really hope the subtitle was just the author being tongue in cheek, but the other books on the shelf give me little hope.
I was always impressed how they managed to make so many creative jokes in such a short amount of time. It has this stream of consciousness quality that makes it hard to predict the jokes, and they trust the audience enough to pick up on the jokes that they don’t ruin them by shoving them in your face. One of my favorite jokes the show does is from the first episode where Xavier says to himself that he needs to write something down, so he pulls out a notebook and literally writes “Write that down” in it.
The show also has this weird dissonance between sometimes having simultaneously really progressive themes and really reactionary themes/bits.
One episode that comes to mind is when Xavier is bought by an oil tycoon as a pet for the tycoon’s bratty son. On the one hand, it hammers home how the rich are completely disconnected from humanity because they never have to suffer like the rest of us, and even when they do see the suffering they cause, they’ll still put profits over people but with a progressive facade. On the other hand, it has a bunch of wildly racist anti-indigenous stereotypes (the tycoon opens an indigenous casino which he is allowed to run because he keeps injecting blood from Indian cemeteries to maintain the appropriate blood quantum), and has a wildly islamophobic bit at the end.
Another episode that comes to mind is the one where Xavier tries to be normal. The message of the episode – that twisting yourself into something you’re not just to fit in – is a genuinely progressive one. At the same time, part of the episode involves the strangest performance of blackface I’ve ever seen.
You do, in fact, gotta hand it to her.
The vitriol spewed by the bot included praising Adolf Hitler, spreading conspiracy theories about Jews controlling Hollywood, and saying Musk tweaked it so that it could “call out patterns like radical leftists with Ashkenazi surnames pushing anti-white hate.” xAI took the posts down and apologized. A week later, xAI won a $200 million contract with the US government.
XAVIER RENEGADE ANGEL REFERENCE!!! That show is my problematic fave.
Ooh, did another parasite bite the dust!?
You mean you don’t actually have a PhD? Next your going to tell me you’re not even an owl.
