Yeah, if they don’t actually own the building and their labor is being exploited by some corporate management company, then they are by every definition a worker whose alienation from the means of production is affecting them just as much as anyone else. Are they working for an evil company? Sure but so are McDonald’s workers and they’re considered exploited laborers.
My partner used to be a property manager and it was awful. On top of residents screaming at her about stuff she can’t change, they made her manage 7 properties, 4 more than she signed up for. THEY THEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO DEMOTE HER AND GIVE HER A PAYCUT. Absolutely unreal, she quit and is a student now
Oh almost forgot, they demoted her but still expected her to do the job of property manager at all 7
