I think Fortnite poisoned the market because of its live service success. Instead of making most of the money at launch they can now bleed whales dry by introducing a battle pass + skins + DLC.
Just waste your money, an endless amount of it.
I mean, what else are they gonna say? “We’re totally gonna waste your time AND milk you for as much of your money as possible!”
I don’t want to waste my time either, so I’m not gonna play it.
It seems like the kind of game you watch 20 minute YouTube video about and you know everything you need to know about it

I’m getting the vibe that it’s been developed with full knowledge that it’s going to be a commercial flop, and they’re just hoping to at least not lose money. Feels like the developer had a contract to make a live service game w/ the IP so they’re just chugging it out. Obviously not sure though.

Yeah the part where they kill Batman was leaked online months a go and that’s the only part of the game people are curious about.
Don’t worry devs, by not buying the game I know you won’t waste my time. If I need a batman fix I’ll visit Arkham city.
