Canadians tend not to mince words when using language like ”enemy”. We’ll throw all sorts of sarcastic insults out, but stating outright that someone is an enemy is no joke. Anyone who doesn’t understand that doesn’t understand Canadians.

Trump no longer being president changes nothing. His enablers in congress, the supreme court, his administration, the entire GOP and a significant portion of the electorate tell me nothing significant changes.

Ok, but the Americans who dont want this need to do something about it. Canadians are reacting rationally to US actions. Whether that makes MAGAts happy or sad is irrelevant. Canada needs to do what is best for Canadians, and refusing to accomodate bullying behaviour is the least worst choice.
