Such a toxic lie
children are often happiest when they see their parents fulfilled, alive and deeply engaged with their own purpose.
Your children would have to actually see you for that, which they barely will with poor work-life balance. When they finally do, you’re probably too exhausted to do something with them and be angry instead because of your exhaustion.
You’ll never remember why you stayed on at work instead of being with your children, but you’ll remember what you missed
