Are aircraft carriers even relevant anymore? In the age of drones, they seem useful only against enemies who don’t hit back.

After WW2 carriers weren’t checked in peer warfare and were mostly used by US for gunboat diplomacy racket. Few years ago USA conducted wargames which conclusion was that carriers are vulnerable to hypersonic missiles. And some more years before Swedish diesel sub managed to “sink” carrier during NATO maneuvers.

Aircrafts also become amazingly useless when your enemy hits your refuelling planes and you are in a fix now because those were all you had and you stopped making them 50 yrs ago.

Aircraft carriers are cool and a feat of modern engineering and technology. I have literally no idea what they have to do with getting speed bagged for 90’ in front of the whole planet, though.

Small dick energy gives these capitalistic fascist fucks too much credit. When I was out on the streets for George Floyd ppl were holding signs that said Derek chauvin has a small dick and small dick energy this and that. Y’all these monsters are killing innocent people. It goes way beyond dick size. Also there were kids around and I think you SHOULD bring your kids to this kind of stuff when it’s safe, so make your signs and rhetoric more solid!!!

Because this absolutely small dick energy.

This is the national equivalent of rolling coal, which is the pinnacle of small dick energy.

I think you misinterpret the tweet then. Such childish behaviour as “We hAvE aIrCraft CarrIEr nUhUh” doesn’t exactly say “we don’t care.” It just screams “I am a sore loser.” I absolutely agree with the rest of your statement, though. It is wild to me how many people care about a bunch of millionaires running after a ball. Or running circles. Or driving cars. Or hitting balls across a net. Or throwing a ball. Etc. It is absolutely fine to enjoy doing those things, but the whole show and dance around it is just ridiculous.

Would you like to make a big deal out of me playing children’s games? Perhaps you’d like to place a bet on the Maximals winning this week. Lord help you if you’re wrong and have to show your face at work tomorrow. Don’t forget to wear your Maximals t-shirt while my play session is televised. I’ve sunk billions of dollars into my toys. I only hire the most competent friends to come over and play with me. I apologize if I make a mistake and ruin your entire day.

I have no problem with adults playing with toys or kids games. In my opinion do what makes you happy and be happy as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.

I’m just pointing out that you are an unserious hypocrite.

No idea what a maximal is and frankly don’t care.

Cutting all the snarkiness: I also have zero issue with adults playing kids games. My point was about the insane proportions to which professional sports are blown.

I also want to add that when you disagree with someone, going into their post history to find some personal attack to make against them is both lousy strategy and douchey. Even if I am a hypocrite, your goal should be to attack my opinion, not me.

And yes, I am also a douche for criticizing how people spend their spare time.

All games are children’s games. People use “growing up” as a reason to quit when in reality we get too old to play to win.

Seriously dude, time to learn the difference. Playing children’s games is fine and nothing to be upset about.

Having a president who played with children in a very disturbing way and is going to the lengths of cheating himself into the highest office to avoid accountability, perhaps, maybe, you should get really upset about that.

What even is a children’s game? A game that can be played by children? That’s almost every game, even games with pointy or heavy things have child-safe versions

Its just a cultural thing. In the US, children play just about every sport, but once kids get to high school, soccer falls off the map and everyone migrates over to American football and basketball. I think they just mean that generally speaking only children play soccer in the US. It’s of course not true, there are high school teams and lots of tech leagues, but it is true that hardly anyone who is not a child plays in the US.

With how popular US high school sports are (literally kids playing games), I don’t think that’s as good of an argument as you think it is.

I’ve got the reading comprehension of a twelve year old, lol. I think that was the point you were making too…

Uhh, adults playing sports in the US are pretty popular too! (totally saved it)

I think its that all sports are ultimately inconsequential entertainment people get way too serious about.

Unlike war profiteering, which is a very important contribution.

People should be proud of how many children the can kill directly and indirectly through military action, proxy wars, and allocation of lifesaving funds to the military industrial complex.

Dude would have a point if they would not “counteract” grown-ass adults playing a children’s game with an even worse case of it.
