Now to my Defence i have quite Long hair so its somewhat Easy to cover up of course as well as me being only 1 Month on HRT now :P
But Man does it suck when i wanna try maybe a Pony Tail Hair Style and all i see is an M Shape regarding my Hair and im just like “nop frick that XD” -.-
I wouldnt consider myself Balding or wahetver as my Doctors even told me that there is no Real Reason for it as they havent discovered some Weird Shit in my Blood or Health for Example >.>
tho it does suck when for example i sometimes see Hair when Drying it via a Hair DRyer just flowing out onto the Floor or me being easily able to rip out my Hair :(
tho i assume those are more due to my Bad Hair Care >.<
I am aware that apparently HRT can “fix” Baldness to a Degree but im just like ugh maybe i should just shave it all off and get a Wig >.>
But i also sadly have too much Pride in my Lonmg Hair >.<

EDIT: Regarding my not taking so good Care of my Hair >.>
I make them Wet and then use a frickin 3 in 1 Shampoo from my Local Grocery Store to Shampoo them and then after im done with Washing them i just Blow Dry them via my Hair Dryer :P
I hate having to go with my Hair Brush through my somewhat Wet Hair Still while Blow Drying my Hair so yea >.<
Also i only wash my Hair like once a Week so that may also be due to why im showing SIngns of “Balding” :P

When you’re brushing your hair do you just brush straight from root to tip or are you starting by brushing the ends then slowly working your way closer to the root?

Male Pattern Baldness is driven by DHT. If your testosterone is sufficiently suppressed by HRT then banding should completely stop progressing and most likely start reversing to a limited extent.

I think androgen receptor blockers like Bicalutamide might be ineffective in that regard though, and you’d have to add finasteride/dutasteride to block DHT conversion. Someone with more knowledge would have to chime in. Personally I’m doing monotherapy.

If you’re balding for other reasons, then HRT will most likely not stop it and you should investigate the underlying medical issue.

That said it’s perfectly normal to lose a bunch of hair when brushing or in the shower. Hair continuously falls out and regrows. It should only be concerning when that amount suddenly increases a lot.

I’m so sorry, hair loss can definitely be demoralizing. I have alopecia, so I can relate. My doctor put me on oral minoxidil, and it’s making a huge difference. It may be worth discussing with your PCP.

Even if you don’t want to shave and go with wigs full time, toppers are a great option! I bought one when my hair fall was at its worst, and it was a great confidence boost without the work associated with a full wig.
