Hello everyone. Hope you all have had a good week. This week I continued my replay of the Mass Effect Trilogy. I am now on ME2: all my squad mates need help with their daddy issues, and i have 5000 planets that i need to suck the iridium out of.

Hope everyone has a good week

Played the new update to Warframe, performance is dogshit for some reason (I normally get over 100fps but have an extremely shaky 50 in the Perita Rebellion). A pretty inconsequential story mission that’s like 1.5 hours long but is essentially just the preview for next year’s Tau update. I would’ve preferred if it was shorter, like Lotus Eaters, but whatever. The new modes are fine but I already have Uriel’s parts and I don’t want to farm Perita yet because for some reason the event was delayed by a week.

Also did a few more runs in Megabonk, feel like I’m already burning out. So many tomes and items are just bad, and the RoR2 item system means you’re extremely reliant on RNG. Oh sure there are microwaves, but you can easily go multiple runs without seeing one.

What are you playing in PoE2? I just finished campaign as bear titan and it’s been pretty fun so far, even with much worse gear than last league because no Abyss. I think once I get my fourth ascendancy it’ll be awesome.

One boss away from 100% Final Fantasy II finally.

A few missions away from finishing Midnight Suns.

I think I’m picking up death stranding starting Tuesday

  • Nuclear Throne - big update came out on the 5th and I’ve unlocked most of the C skins except for [ɴᴇᴡ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ], Chicken, and Horror, which are really hard. Probably cause I’ve never gotten further than the first couple stages of loop 2

Still muddling through my BG3 Dark Urge Honor Mode achievement-hunting run. I’m in the first part of Act I and nearly caught up to where I was when I died during the first attempt last weekend.

It’s bad enough that I started a checklist that I can re-use when I inevitably die again. So far I’ve spent over an hour hurling goblins into a pit in a last-ditch attempt to hit level 5 before I take on

    mild Act I spoiler

    Kagha and the shadow druids

I’ve also got a bunch of pre-Mountain Pass Act I cleanup to do before I press on. I also have no idea how in the hell I’m going to take down the bulette. I already had no luck with luring it into the hook horror encounter by the sussy tree; I only got in one attack (that missed) before it burrowed and ran away. I guess there’s the patrolling minotaurs. I think I’m saving that fight for after I have some more gear anyway, especially if I manage to score level 6 while still in Act I. (Don’t judge; it’s Honor Mode – overkill is the name of the game. And also cheese.)

Edit: I am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty goblin camp will never be purged away but with blood. john-brown

There’s no point of fighting the bulette really, even with glut rez it’s annoying to navigate terrain. Minimal XP for effort and crap loot. Just run from combat each time.

Minotaurs are easy though. Spectator is much more dangerous in honor mode. Make sure to hit a petrified drow with a ranged attack to spawn it and avoid the surprise round from the cutscene. Keep your team spread out. That’s the only dangerous encounter in the underdark really. Grym can be killed by keeping a player up above and chucking down random objects for bludgeoning fall damage, bring lots of heavy things.

I stumbled ass-backwards into the Bulette fight two nights ago and figured eh, what the hell. I had it down in about three rounds. Well worth the 150 XP.

Spectator was surprisingly easy. I did lead off by throwing a water bottle near one of the petrified drow, and that tripped the surprise round while I was well outside combat range. I took it down just fine in my previous Honor Mode attempt, too – it made the mistake of flying all the way into the fort, where I had Lae’zel and Astarion waiting to tear it to pieces in melee.

And yeah, for Grym, I’ve been saving every pair of shoes and boots that I find as random loot so I can lob those at him. The only caveat is that you can’t get the killing blow with a thrown item. Or, rather, you can, but you miss out on XP. Ring of Flinging + Gloves of Uninhibited Kushigo + Returning Pike on my fighter ought to be good for a laugh too, in spite of his piercing resist.

My new problem is that I haven’t triggered the owlbear cub moving to the goblin camp yet, and I’m debating whether to take out the goblin leaders and gamble on him showing up at my camp on his own, or just persist in the doomed world that I have created. Ah! Well. Nevertheless,

Still playing Final Fantasy VI here, I’ve just been taking it slow and enjoying it. I still haven’t caught up to where I left off yet but the game is so good that it isn’t bothering me. I also tried out Vintage Story and made it through the tutorial before deciding this game isn’t for me lol. I might give it another try later though since I didn’t play that long.

Quasimorph. It’s this little addictive turn based extraction shooter with a Doom aesthetic. Very hard and sometimes feels very unfair but it keeps me coming back it’s so good

This week I started playing Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. It’s a Vampire Survivors style bullet heaven game, but the twist is that this one also has mining.

I’m five hours in, really enjoying it so far. It has a satisfying gameplay loop. You’re always making progress and unlocking stuff even if you fail a mission. There are extra objectives on every map to keep you busy instead of just running in a circle.

I played a couple turns of warhammer total war and that is literally it for my gaming. I am still hunting down the forces of order as Wulfrick the Wanderer. (I have the victory conditions overhaul mod, so i need to build all the tombs of chaos champions and beat 15 legendary lords)
They hyped up that if you reject all 4 chaos gods you get a special reward and give how long it is taking me to get these rewards it is so not gonna be worth it.
I am turning down a hype as hell wizard and a guy named Killgore Slaymaim for this.
