I was reading a short story where the MC’s friend has a fascination with hyenas and loves to tell people that the female members of the species have penises and are therefore all trans, to which the MC responds “please don’t talk like this around normies”.

I had to immediately check if it was true, and learned that hyenas basically sound like they were created by a furry who’s into femdom and furanari.

How come hierarchy loving Jordan Peterson loves to talk about lobster hierarchies and not hyena’s? What are you so afraid of, JP?

When mating, a female retracts the penis on itself, ‘much like pushing up a shirtsleeve,’ and creates an opening into which the male inserts his own penis.

Sounds like another thing that people have a fetish for, but I have no idea what this kink would be called.

Okay, I know about sounding, but I didn’t think this would count, as female hyenas basically fold up their dicks (which are considered pseudo-penises) so they don’t get in the way while mating.

Some places say female hyenas evolved it as a way of preventing non-consential sex. Does that mean female hyenas are biologically power bottoms? I need to know.

There is some actual series/fandom that has literally that as part of its… vampire expies? Some androgynous all-male race of I think transformed humans infected with something to make them whatever they are, where the receptive partner just sort of opens like that? I only dimly remember hearing of its existence through the context of someone reviewing a TTRPG of the setting and mentioning the research on the series they did to try to contextualize and understand what the fuck they were even looking at.
