I know you’re getting a lot of harsh replies, but I hope the dog-piling won’t dissuade you from taking the point that there’s a real, material difference between being a thug whose purpose is to violate the rights and well-being of actual living humans with a shield of anonymity, and just being any random person being stalked and doxxed for any given reason.

I would be thrilled if laws were put in place to protect people and applied evenly - but the reason why your comment is not only useless but also aggravating for those who see the contradictions is that it ignores the actual context in which we’re living, and the mindset behind it serves to justify and uphold a system which punishes and preys upon those who are the most in need of protection.
