Just wanted to follow up, love that Slowly Building Weapons record, added to my wishlist for next BC Friday and subbed to the obscuremusic community. Thanks!

Loved my Xperia 1 VI but it needed hw upgrades pretty badly for the price
I’m just glad to see FW increasing the visibility of SFF form factors
Love me some screamo, I’ll check out that Slowly Building Weapons record!
Mainly just catching up on my fave records from this year, plus a few comps that sounded cool. I’m not done yet!
If you like metal then that Jivebomb album is excellent hardcore punk. Along similar lines is Xiao’s Control which is more powerviolence but still great
Edit: a more sasscore aligned record you might dig is Emma Goldman’s All You Are is We. This features members of Dads Thighs, who put one of my fave emo records The Ghosts that I Fear
I preferred the first record but This Bitter Garden is up there for me as well. End Beginnings from Sandwell District is another honorable mention
Never heard that about deathcore, fascinating. I was going to say bands like Panopticon or WitTR are some of the few exceptions from this list
Digging the new record but nothing beats Pursuit for me
Lovecraft and sludge metal? Definitely piques my interest 🦑🦑🦑
same for me with EndeavourOS, comrade
I’m bumping this as I didn’t want to create a new topic, this will very likely be in my favourite records of 2025. It’s so floaty yet quietly uplifting, I loved Galore and it’ll always be special to me but this is something else. I heard a few tracks live last year but didn’t pretty get it until I experienced the full record, just a joy to behold. It gives me hope, which is in short supply these days
Edit: Welp, only use noticed I’ve already commented on this, least I’m consistent?
All good, thanks for taking those features into consideration. I’m a mod on two communities but have only just been added to one, the other is very quiet i.e. I’ve not needed to do any modding
That’d be great, thanks! The Reports page like the site would be as much as I’d want due to Lemmy’s own limited feature set currently, with tabs for unread/all, all/comments/posts
Does Blorp support mod actions? I love Thunder but am trying out Summit as it has these
Niiice, Dark Entries and Minimal Wave are two of the best, I’m a big fan of Mannequin Records too
Always love seeing minimal wave posted, glad I got to see them play Always Then live last year
Depending on the camera performance, might be interested in switching to this from my pixel
Their version of Grammy is incredible, one of my favourite covers ever https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SZ0gF7Fu0M
Awesome to see them back touring again
