One of my fave records of the year, thought it’d be difficult to top Galore but it’s something other completely. Ethel Cain remarked on her IG that she loved the album and that it sounded like music for bugs, and I get it… Perfect to see in the spring and warmer weather! Lovely live too, saw her last year in Prague at a fest and on the latest tour in London
I’m bumping this as I didn’t want to create a new topic, this will very likely be in my favourite records of 2025. It’s so floaty yet quietly uplifting, I loved Galore and it’ll always be special to me but this is something else. I heard a few tracks live last year but didn’t pretty get it until I experienced the full record, just a joy to behold. It gives me hope, which is in short supply these days
