Yeah, you can post pets there. I don’t see any when I visit the site but they know me already. I only use it for tech and consoles. Not sure where else to buy/sell stuff locally that’s not Facebook.
A website you post stuff to sell. Like Facebook Marketplace but you don’t need to sell your soul to use it.
I miss Mexican blueberries. At some point in the last month all I can find are American blueberries so I’m going without.
I’ve also started buying a lot more used tech/tools off marketplace/kijiji/etc when I need something. If I can’t buy Canadian I can still support Canadians.
Its not often I’m impressed by OC Transpo. I’m sure this will help people save a bit of money.
😮💨 doing the math to figure this out is depressing.
Our AC ran from 9:30am yesterday morning until it was able to catch up to the set temp at about 1:50am. Seems like it has already started again today. 2 years ago we didn’t have one, I’ll never go back.
Good news for the most part. This bit kind of sucks:
While baby boomers and Gen X men and women were largely aligned in their support, those attitudes diverged among millennials and especially Gen Z, the poll found, with more young women supporting LGBTQ2 issues than young men.
I had high hopes for my generation (millennials) and younger. We’d fix everything our parents did… Now I have doubts. “Live and let live” is such a low bar we should all be able to do.
If I didn’t do anything wrong I’d ignore anyone I didn’t want to talk to and keep doing my own thing. Continue shopping or whatever it was.
Other things that happen would be unrelated (even if it’s related, I’d deal with it as a separate event). Next thing that happens is a security guard hits me, call the cops. I did nothing wrong. If they try to stop me I’d ignore them and wlk away. Physically hold me, I’d call the cops.
If I was scared for my safety I’d do everything and and anything to get out of the situation and deal with the consequences once I was safe.
Link for the lazy like I wanted to be.
I wonder if they could mod the OG switch, backup the nand, then run software to find files without inodes on the backup. One of these should be the save file, right? It’d be a lot of work but possible.
How will people read my opinions if its on paper!? /s
Damn, sorry to hear that. Good luck though!
How’d it go?
I mean, going door to door and asking won’t hurt. Give them a quick sentence how you’re saving up for something and if they need any help around the house. Lawn mowed, dogs walked, etc. If they say no, thank them for their time and move on.
You could also go to a mechanic shop, fencing company, really any random trades shops with a resume and ask if they need some help around the shop.
I finished college and took me awhile to get a job. Walmart, McDonalds, and the like never called me back. Took a job as an L1 support for some startup and moved up to SysAdmin.
I’d say this is more of a reason to buy Canadian but I’m sure they’ll raise prices on that too.
Man, yesterday I drove down St Joseph Blvd and it looked like a man on a bike was hit. Ambulance was not there yet but he was on the ground with people around him trying to help… it didn’t look nice. For a second I thought this was an article about him.
People need to calm down and get of their phones while driving.
I’ve never been downtown Ottawa on Canada day. I’ll go one of these years but I’ve read its not as good as it use to.
After moving outside city limits, any time I go back into the city I cant stand the traffic. Waze is a must, even if its a quick trip.
