  • Remarkably, patients who received either the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine within 100 days of starting immunotherapy were more than twice as likely to be alive after three years compared with those who didn’t receive either vaccine.

just exercising some healthy skepticism here, wouldn’t people that didn’t take the vaccines just be more likely to have died of covid, and also be an indicator of other poor choices? or is there some extra math im missing that accounts for immunodeficient exemption vs choosing no vaccine, etc?

edit: nvm. looking at extended data fig. 2 of the paper, there is definitely not the same overall survival boost with the flu and pneumonia shots compared to the covid mRNA. fig.2

me too! but this one time in high school calculus, my classmate beside me ate the core and put the seeds and stem on a napkin, like i usually did. but then he proceeded to pour them all into his hand and SWALLOW IT IN ONE BIG GULP, and ngl it really pissed me off for some reason. after that, i preferred eating oranges.

woah that’s so cool, so the expanding steam is making a barrier across the surface of the skin!?!?

if you shot a durian at the sun, how close could it get before burning up?

would it form a tiny atmosphere with microscopic weather patterns and have a comets tail of steam?

  • nothing is futile, convince other voters that the MP isn’t listening and shouldn’t be your representative anymore. if your mind is set for giving up on government action, then support third party organizations that build ev chargers and teach people how to run and maintain them and stuff. i agree that we need more accountability for elected officials, but to get electoral reform you still need your MP to vote for it. i don’t think it’s good to completely give up on participating as a citizen within a state, though we still need some direct action as a form of direct democracy outside of established structures and systems
