I’m still here as well! I’m nose down finishing our season IRL, but I’ll hopefully be somewhat active for CFB preseason starting next week.

I was maybe gonna make a post asking the community about piefed. It’s selling point is being small and maintainable enough that hosting a server doesn’t have to be a full time job. And supposedly it’s written in python so adding things like user flair could be easier. But idk I’m no web dev, I was all backend stuff during my coding days.

Anyway if anyone has ideas or complaints send em my way.

Love these anonymous interviews, even for other conferences. Curious if you have any more insight into big red. As a Vol I’ve felt like kindred spirits the past one or two decades, and frankly the quotes there (other than commending the new OC) are the generic “oh they’re definitely building something there” lines that I have grown accustomed to throughout the jones and pruitt years.

One of my personal faves: Told this girl in college that we were gonna go to a place called Donnie’s steakhouse. She got somewhat dressed up for the occasion. Donnie’s is just McDonalds. If they’ve got a good sense of humor (and she did), they’ll get a good kick out of it. Although it may take a day or two.

Yeah but the teams in the ncg both lost to terrible teams, ND especially. I think anOSU fans will genuinely still consider this a spoiled season 10 years down the road because they lost the game. And in my mind, that has GOT to be enough to keep a team from being the best in the nation. If we won every game except florida, I would enjoy the NC, but I would still look back at the season as a faliure. The media moguls don’t understand this. And I can’t reasonably vote against this. At the end of the day, I’m still a cfb sicko, and I will watch the playoff as it continues to expand, even though its not what I want.
