I’d definitely believe the top two. My oldest sister seems to only date dudes that end up beating her, but my other sister has been put in the hospital by every woman she’s dated. I know it’s slim pickings, and rural Midwest lesbians have a lot to be mad about, but stop taking it out on each other! There are more deserving targets.

That threw me when I started Guards! Guards!. I generally only have time to read at night and stop at the first chapter break after 11:00. For several nights in a row I was reading until midnight, giving up, then forgetting by the next time. Eventually I checked ahead and realized there weren’t any, but a lot of his ‘sections’ are chapter sized, so it works out.

I can’t help with the extensions, but I will say Outlook is the hungriest tab on my machine. 850MB on startup with no extensions. So only about half of what you’re seeing, but still way more than anything else I open.

I commend your tab hoarding. I just want to know how much RAM you have to support that. I have 32 GB, Firefox won’t load them until I click on them, and it still struggles at 100 tabs.

Horchata is legitimately that good. I’ve never had it bottled, but it’s relatively cheap and easy to make. If I had the fridge space I’d have two jugs going at all times.

I used to get this as a kid, but I haven’t had it happen since. I feel like I could induce it, but it was very upsetting so I have not wanted to try. I had no idea it was an issue other people experienced.

I’m extra sad to hear this happened at a bookstore. Besides a couple struggling B&Ns every bookstore around here is independent and either trans-owned or aggressively trans-friendly. Bookstores and libraries should be the ultimate safe spaces.

If it helps, I’ve seen these people drive cars and they don’t behave any better. A few people I know only ride bikes because they got their licenses revoked. Some people really only see others as an obstacle to their goals, not as other human beings.
