I knew Monty Python was a documentary.
I knew Monty Python was a documentary.
The matrix reloaded now has a giant gang bang with Keanu Reeves being violated by hundreds of Agent Smiths.
I smell a book deal coming.
Don’t fire people you need to help with a cover up. It’s basically rule 1 of successful conspiracies.
It’s killed a lot of people.

Desperate people sell their blood. They lie about drug use and infections because they need money. High-risk Prisoners had to sell blood at under the going rate, and then this was covered up for profit.
Things have got better with more rigorous testing, but there’s always the risk of a new illness or drug that falls through the current tests. There’s a reason that most countries ban it.
One of the criteria is to deliberately peg your currency to the Euro for two years. This is optional and you can simply never do it.
So Sweden will not join the Euro without a referendum, even though they don’t have an opt out.
You can already see how they were handled with Ukrainian refuges.
In the UK, the standard channels were completely bypassed. No need to go through the normal refuge system, and the government would directly pay families to host refuges.
Very different to the standard approach where you’re indefinitely detained the cheapest accommodation possible and banned from working.
Everytime the supreme Court does something batshit that allows Trump more power, I wonder if this is what Godel was worried about.
To be fair Berlin is 100x better than the rest of Germany.
Ok, so yes it was cool. But even when it first came out the people that were really into it were weird.
The Anti-Defamation League notes that though the symbol is popular with white supremacists, imagery resembling the black sun features in many cultures, and that such imagery should always be analyzed in the context in which it appears, as it may not necessarily be intended to serve as a symbol of white supremacy or racism.
i just googled it. Apparently they’re just really into star wars, and didn’t realize about the Nazi symbol until it was too late.
This is the first thing I’ve read that makes me feel excited about AI agents, and it’s got nothing to do with AI or agents.
These kinds of hooks are why people keep using emacs and what Guile was meant to solve. If we actually end up with a generic API framework across apps and websites it’s super cool.
Everything is text/json is going to be slow but fuck it, we can start slow and optimize when needed.
So a random person on Reddit claimed there’s about 800 million possible uk mobile numbers, some people have multiple numbers so ballpark 80 million active phone numbers. This gives around a 1:10 chance of picking an active number at random. If there’s actual patterns in the numbers this could be even more likely.
What’s interesting is this won’t have been a realistic sounding number.
Company lines typically start 0300 or 0800 but mobiles are 07… Something.
So if it was just hallucinating, it did so badly.
Vote early, vote often.
So which existing training should we cut to make time for sling practice?
Because you have to learn to use a sling and if you’re not good you’re much more likely to blow yourself up.
You could probably come up with a more idiot friendly version though some kind of fabric sock where you just launch the whole thing
Ovaries everywhere just breathed a sigh of relief.
Tariffs don’t work for service roles.
Anything where the output of the job isn’t physical, e.g. writing code, designing something, answering a phone, is super hard to track.
This is actually why the US seems to be running a trade deficit with so many countries. Companies like Google, Meta and Amazon take money from all over the world in exchange for services like advertising, and then it eventually gets spent on goods from other countries.
This actually doesn’t affect landlords because council tax is charged to people living in the house first, and only to the owner if no one is living there.
This primarily affects second home owners and short term lets, but there’s other renting reform coming as well, and this has already dropped house prices, so it’s a start.
It’s just such a dumb take from the FT.
Trump is shooting the American economy in the foot with tariffs. Imposing reciprocal tariffs would shoot the EU economy in the foot too.
Talking him down so the tariffs are smaller and less damage is done globally is the best possible outcome.
Nothing is being legitimized, it’s just that America can not be stopped from fucking it’s own economy, and will have to unfuck it on it’s own later.
