    What did they hire him for? Doesn’t feel very clear about that.

      They hired him as a maker-in-residence, whatever that means. I took it to mean brand ambassador, but it may be more than that. Maybe he gives feedback on designs. Regardless, it was gross, and their response to criticism was inexcusable.
