I suspected all this was true but it does feel validating to have one them just say it plainly rather than dance around it with political dissembling. I assume that a lot people will probably just dismiss this as a singularly evil rich guy rather than a singularly honest one.
I swear I had some sort of epiphany when I heard that one guy use “human capital stock” to refer to workers early on in the pandemic. I used to think people saying these people are evil was hyperbolic but these
moments really lay bare how true it actually is
“what if rich guy … but good?”
The fed kinda came right out and said it when they started the rate hikes themselves. They might not have been as crude as this guy, but they were basically like workers are asking for too much money, we’re going to raise interest rates and therefore unemployment until they stop that.
Liberals say we don’t do class war and this guy’s literally talking about workers needing to be reminded who works for whom. He knows fully what class he belongs to.
