(Bit cynical but, as a once Boosh and python watcher and quoter myself, I had a few friends whose entire comedy repertoire was quotes
I also don’t think this is unique to Boosh, cos family guy exists, south park exists, and there’s lots of quooooter fans of those series)

I think I was mistaken. Is this actually what it’s like, in the last 10 years and it’s so funny to have to do so, but it’s so funny and unintentional. It doesn’t seem to even get as bad as it’s getting me into the script of chapotraphouse so I guess it would probably probably not happen to have been me or what I’d want to just go back on.

are you from that era? I never really liked it either, but a lot of my friends did. It seemed like a lot of comedies of that era were about meme-ability, or quotability. Maybe all comedies, and not just of that era, for that matter.
I guess what I’m trying to say is: you had to be there.
I am from the era and it’s the only comedy where I didn’t even laugh once. Family guy gave me more laughs.
IT crowd, the office, extras, black books, league of gentlemen, peep show, Inbetweeners, little Britain, come fly with me. Every single one I found funny at the time and mighty Boosh I can’t even find where the jokes are. What actually is supposed to be the bit where I laugh?

Yeah I never did either. And I was bang in the middle of the target demographic for it. My friends loved it and would laugh out loud at it while I sat there stone faced and a little confused. Only reason I watched it was to undertsand wtf people were talking about.
I remember it being pretty funny, but like a lot of early 2000s British comedy, I imagine it has aged incredibly poorly.
It was hilarious when I watched it at the time but I ended up watching a clue of episodes a few years back and it’s aged terribly. At this point the only bit of BBC three stuff from that era that I still really look on fondly Monkey Dust which was an utterly insane show.
