It’s a dystopian nightmare right now but this is gonna ease the pain in three years when off lease Macs come on to the secondhand market. It’s gonna be like that special time every year when the fiscal year rolls over and suddenly two or three generation old dells and Lenovos are all over eBay because they came off lease from the business that was using em.

i salvaged an old dell laptop for free, replaced the dead battery and then installed linux on it, its like a brand new machine, and everything worked straight away, even the touch screen. Its crazy how well “old” machines run when they’re not bloated with Windows garbage
