I can’t comment on it because I don’t eat sushi, but seaweed is delicious and that’s a visually significant part of sushi so I have a hard time believing it isn’t also delicious
The nori in sushi is usually unseasoned, unlike nori designed for consumption on its own.
The flavour comes from the rice (seasoned with vinegar) and/or whatever goes on/in the rice, which can be very plain or flavourful depending.
Which works because like, versions of fish and starch with vinegar is a extremely common staple worldwide

When on toast, you can load up the toast for the ratio you like. It’s honestly fine.
I’m not a fan of it on it’s own, but if you add actual spices and herbs to it and some cheese then put it in the toaster oven/air fryer, then it’s tolerable.
Id probably try it before having such strong opinions on it.

Japan is the Britain of Asia. Made some Japanese “extra spicy” curry last week and the spice barely registered. Had to throw gochujang paste and red chili flakes into it before I got some heat.
I mean, neither cuisine really claimed to be full of ‘hot’ spice. Not all food needs to be.
You can eat some dangerously hot Indian takeaway if you have to burn from local food.
But when something claims to be “extra spicy” I’m gonna be upset if it’s not spicy at all.

Not really, it improved the flavor imo but that’s mostly because I prefer spicy stuff and am willing to sacrifice “authenticity” for it
