I read that in a slow writing voice and heard pencil scratches
Is this a common issue?
If you are prone to dropping your phone I suggest a strap. It sticks out of the port area and you can just tighten it against your wrist
It also doesn’t fit in your pocket. How convenient.
Put it down your underwear and make it look like you’ve got a hard on all the time
Better yet, install a doorknob instead just so you can say it’s your knob
Modern problems
require modern solutions!
I have broken zero phones and lost exactly zero phones in drains
Can somebody confirm this is a concern? Is it an alcoholism thing?
I think it’s a going out and doing things to have fun thing.
I never considered throwing my phone in a sewer could be entertaining. I may have to rethink my position.
Join your local Sewer Phone Club! It’s a blast.
I lose my parts phones often (and usually find them in unusual places). But I never lost a thing I actually used semi-often.
But I do drop phones all the time (I also dropped my Redmi’s bare motherboard ~2 times while repairing it (somehow it survived without problems)). I cracked one screen glass on a Samsung a12 last year (a really shitty phone), it’s still fully functional (but not mine anymore). I also cracked an LCD of a Huawei P20 lite (which I would probably still be using if it was in a working condition). Now I use a Redmi 4X. It was old when I got it and survives literally everything (except any mild motherboard temperature changes (weirdly)). I’m not replacing it until it’s irreparable since I can’t take care of stuff.
Edit: Also had a Mi 11 Lite 5G with severe motherboard problems, which isn’t important in this context. Fuck the new Xiaomis.
somehow survived
There’s no reason it wouldn’t lmao, a falling phone board has both tiny weight and shitty aerodynamics.
But also no protection whatsoever. I’m not that optimistic about it.
I suppose everyone has a different baseline dexterity.
Ha ing it diagonal like that means you can only use one hand in horizontal mode and only the other hand in vertical mode (if you have your fingers inside the handle).
You see, that’s why OP always carries a second phone: To photograph the first one not falling into the gutter
Do you not have friends to take fun photos for you?
Nope :c
Nooooooooooooo :c I will take pictures for you. Like spirtually of course, idk where you are.
I’m in the walls
Oh hey scott
Unnecessary, I own a Panasonic mirrorless.
How often are you dropping your phone into a street drain?
Quite a lot actually. It has that stupid handle on it so it doesn’t ft in my pocket.
Yeah, it was forty-nine times, and now it might be waiting for you.
Aren’t these a very popular accessory?

As are other more structurally sound models.
That’s much less reliable tbh
I’ve used it on a motorcycle attachment for a long trip before. The same pop socket was then attached to a new phone and used for another 2 years. Maybe I lucked out with that model or it just sticks to flat cases better.
The idea of having my phone exposed while riding a motorcycle is freaking me out. Like… My hands got sweaty after reading that.
I completely understand. Before this I actually taped my phone below the motorcycle dash which was scarier because I had to reuse the tape again on the way back and it was coming off. I think it was a Note 2 at the time and those things were huge.
Experience or feeling? I’ve had three or four over the last 10 years, the plastic starts disintegrating from constant use after a couple years, while the adhesive still sticks (and all that while being repositionable and reusable, I’ve swapped cases but kept the pop socket), so can’t relate tbh
Does a phone count as a flared base?
Suction cups don’t hold for long.
They are applied with an adhesive strip, not suction cup.
It’s trying to escape.
The only useful phone case design I’ve seen. I bet it’ll be ADA compliant if applied for.
