    A phone is quite likely one of the most touched and seen item by the user in their day. For something like that, tactile sensation, ergonomics and looks kinda do matter, no?

    I can’t be the only one who receives genuine pleasure from handling a clean, smooth glass brick every day, right?

    And yes, phones are expensive and important. That’s why we just… Use them carefully and not drop them.

    If I purchased an expensive car, I’d use it carefully. I wouldn’t cover it up with plastic protection mats or whatever you protect it in case I crash.

    And again, about dropping the phone… Just… Don’t drop it? How does a drop even happen? Is it really that hard not to drop a phone?

      Your logic is basically ‘I prefer it this way, so it must be the best way and everyone should conform’. You don’t drop your phone, so you can’t fathom that others might.
