One thing I liked about the Assassin’s Creed game in Egypt was how they showed the constructions from different eras, it took place around 40 BC so the Great Pyramid was already over 2500 years old and dilapidated
if they lived in the region, wouldn’t they be like “damn I love living here, my great-great uncle/ancestors really did a good job on that pyramid casing”
idk i don’t think they’re incompatible i feel like they’d hear stories about how big and wonderful and shit they are but you can’t really conceive it until you see it
The Nile was kinda like the highway of ancient egypt and they used it to travel so anyone who did any travelling at all had gone right past it. It’s not exactly in an out of the way location.
