I looked up “emo anime twink” and just downloaded the top few for meme backgrounds. Laovaans showed up twice… clearly doing gods work.
He’s a great case study for “artistic voice”. Like, there’s more than enough people drawing muscular anime boys - just think of all the guys who really like drawing shirtless Goku for some reason - and if you just look at what literally is on the page there isn’t much difference. Yet all you can say about the guys who draw Goku is “man they sure like drawing Goku” while with Laovaan, after looking at like a dozen of his drawings you’d have a 90% accuracy rate at pointing out his boyfriend in a lineup of 10 guys. I love art, the machines will never be able to replicate that kind of magic.
