        According to Wikipedia, the Common Raven (most common raven across the entire Northen Hemisphere) measures about 25in in length. That’s just over 2ft. So definitely not a small bird.

        Ravens ARE big. About as large as a golden eagle, larger than a falcon or a kite. It’s the crows that are just a bit bigger than pigeons.

        the problem with corvids is that basically only magpies look any different, and even then if they happen to have less white on them they can still be confusing…
