I had this happen a while back. It turns out it was bells paulsey and I temporarily lost the ability to close my right eye. When I went to the doctors they told me that getting it seen and treated early is the difference between the eye being knocked out for six months and the eye being knocked out for a few weeks. Go to the doctor

This could be a TIA, which could mean you will have a full on stroke soon. Better safe than sorry.

It’s a serious medical event.
Half your face drooping could be a sign of stroke. Mini strokes can happen when you’re sleeping and you don’t even know they happened.
