    Read The Winter Of Our Discontent when you get a chance. I read it a while ago and I’ve been meaning to reread it because I keep thinking about it. It’s from later in his career too, I don’t think he wrote much after.

    It’s kind of about how it’s more ethical to rob a bank than to get money the ‘right’ way. The protagonist hurts all these people in a way that’s legally allowed to make his fortune when he also had the plan to pull of the perfect bank robbery, which would have been the morally right thing to do in the circumstances.

    And the backdrop of the latter part of the book is he’s helping his son write an essay on why America is the greatest country in the world. It would be great to get your thoughts on Winter after finishing Eden. I should reread Eden too but it’s so long.

      That sounds really interesting it’s definitely going on my list. I’m probably going to finish East of Eden around the time the final Red Rising book comes out so I will be tied to that but after I’m done I think I’ll check that out!I also want to read the grapes of wrath too at some point.
