We do not care about the major things Trump did right now. We want to focus on the… minor ones.

Okay then, yes Hitler brought Germany out of the depression but he also started a war that killed something like 80 million people and also kicked off a fucking genocide.

Is this a confession? “Yea he may have willingly joined parties where people fiddled kids, he may even have done some himself. But he has also done great stuff (?) so that is fine.”

He does one thing that Democrat candidates can’t seem to grasp. he messages very simple and repeatable claims about things he has done, often not even relevant to politics, and constantly brags while using them. what did Biden do? idiots don’t know, if he spent a lot more time using illiterate friendly words to repeatedly claim the things he’s done in his life, including his play time on Minecraft, he would be president still. Trump also has to constantly correct his handlers on this too, they try and get him following the past tropes of running for president and then they’re baffled when he edits the script to dog food for brains simple and just repeats himself constantly about what a great game of tennis he played once in the 70s, and he doesn’t even have a pet dog.

You’re just jealous because you’ve never shat your pants in the oval office. All the greats have done it. Elvis said he wanted to do it. And I did it folks, I did it. They said I wasn’t gonna do it, but I did it. Sleepy Joe Biden couldn’t do it, I did it. The democrats said it wasn’t possible but I did it. I did it harder -you wouldn’t believe- harder and noisier. They said it couldn’t be done, can you believe it? They said it couldn’t be done, but I did it. I did it. And they’re saying, you know what they’re saying? They’re saying it’s the most historical shart. I couldn’t believe it. But they said it’s the most historical. In history, folks. And it’s funny, you know, they don’t like to hear it! They don’t like it. But I say America first. America first. And that’s why I had to do it. That’s why I had to do it. And they love it, really. They love it.

People genuinely admire the rich. I think some cultural norms/lessons with good intentions may have backfired and made it even worse. I remember being taught not to be jealous of others, not to compare myself to them, not to keep up with the Joneses, and that a person can do whatever they want if they put their mind to it and work hard.

Those might individually be good things for one to practice, and I am going to keep doing so.

But at the same time… those lessons are not supposed to be taken as bidirectional rules of nature! A good person doing those things does not imply that a billionaire is the rare individual that is 1000x visionary and hard working, 1000x not to be envied or judged, and 1000x deserving. Oh yeah, 1000x noble and not at all 1000x sociopathic or obsessed.

The really insane part is that the “really great things” he has done is be rich. The religion that the religious right actually worships and actively practices is “wealth and power”. They have taken the mantra that “god will reward faithfulness” so thoroughly and seriously that they 100% believe that the fact that he is wealthy and powerful means that whatever he is doing is the right thing because otherwise God would not continue to reward him.
This is why they actively defend and encourage whatever he does, because God continues to reward him. If God doesn’t punish him then whatever he is doing is what God wants. Even the child fucking is righteous because if it wasn’t, then God would put a stop to it. And the victims deserve no mercy because they obviously are not loved by God or else they wouldn’t be in a position to be victimized.

The irony, even if that God nonsense were true, God isloterwlly trying really fucking hard to punish him though all thrse human channels, very obviousky, the files, the trials, and his demon guardians proclaim he is righteous and the Idiot Cult laps it all up while claiming its “God protecting him” or some shit.

Republican psychological projection is like two black holes orbiting each other until one day they collide and merge.

Its now happening so quickly that their accusations are occurring in their own actions they’re accusing others of (like Bondi deflecting by bitching and lying about deflecting).

        1. Well he showed America why EACH and EVERY vote matters
        2. The consequences of ONE poor decision /indecision on one’s part
        3. How one appreciates the good poorly, until the real bad arrives
        4. Why America is actually great. Not because of screw-ups like him, but because of its citizens.

Disclaimer: I am not an American, I am from a fucked up nation where the vast majority is MAGA equivalent. This is why I have come to love how the people of America have reacted and their understanding and clarity which my unfortunate nation lacks.

We aren’t even in the news because our’s is at the fine threshold were we overstep the boundaries a lot but not too much at a time - so it doesn’t show. Those who may rise above their own turmaoil to pay even the slightest attention can see it easily, but we are a nation just in the background and the view is blurred by the upheaval of the rest.

Plz do not ask me which. You might guess correctly or incorrectly and I will not answer.

It wasn’t, but that time America was not an active participant in the game. They were amongst those trying to provide aid to Gaza (or atleast that was the official stance).

The abhorrent behaviour of Trump government is a radically opposite stand. Concentrating the people at aid centers, by taking advantage of their hunger, and then make them sitting ducks.

These people are so disconnected from themselves, they feel that abstract ideas in their head are more important than actual physical suffering of people.

WTF? They built a pier off the shore of Gaza that lasted less than a week and airdropped a few crates of food. This is entirely outweighed by the unconditional support of the Israeli government’s genocide. They provided everything Israel ever wanted and never made an actual ultimatum to Netanyahu’s government. They absolutely were active participants (in fact, the main instigators).

The abhorrent behaviour of Trump government is a radically opposite stand. Concentrating the people at aid centers, by taking advantage of their hunger, and then nake them sitting ducks.

This did get a lot of media coverage in early 2025 but AFAIK it’s not exactly unprecedented and Israel had already been doing similar things in the early stages of the operation post Oct 7th. At the very least, it’s hard to say whether these tactics, as cruel and horrifying as they are, were any more lethal than what they were already doing for a year before that.

A backpacker is traveling through Ireland when it starts to rain. He decides to wait out the storm in a nearby pub. The only other person at the bar is an older man staring at his drink. After a few moments of silence the man turns to the backpacker and says in a thick Irish accent:

“You see this bar? I built this bar with my own bare hands. I cut down every tree and made the lumber myself. I toiled away through the wind and cold, but do they call me McGreggor the bar builder? No.”

He continued “Do you see that stone wall out there? I built that wall with my own bare hands. I found every stone and placed them just right through the rain and the mud, but do they call me McGreggor the wall builder? No.”

“Do ya see that pier out there on the lake? I built that pier with my own bare hands, driving each piling deep into ground so that it would last a lifetime. Do they call me McGreggor the pier builder? No.”

    “But ya fuck one goat…”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The only thing that matters to his base is that he’s a manifestation of their racism.

As long as he’s doing what racists love, they won’t mind if they came into their house and fucked their wifes and kids.

Few might get disgusted for a while, but hey, their prayer to not see any brown people at work tomorrow might get answered. So that’s a win.
