Still a low bar but he isn’t being applauded for avoiding the pedo parties. If he’d just said “no thanks” no one would be cheering for the guy. It’s the expression of rage and desire to use force that’s getting him cheered for. And yeah that is still a pathetically low bar, because any decent human being should at least feel a violent impulse in response to that invitation. But the fact remains that the response isn’t about simply saying no.
