When it comes to performance, it’s hard to find users who are completely satisfied with Windows 11. Many believe it’s filled with unnecessary features that are difficult to disable. According to a recent test by YouTuber TrigzZolt, Windows 11 might actually be the slowest version of Windows released in the past 25 years — yes, even slower than the often-criticized Windows Vista. In a detailed comparison, TrigzZolt benchmarked several Windows versions: XP, Vista, 7, 8.1, 10, and
And unstable. The amount of shit that crashes on Win11 is absolutely abysmal. Windows Explorer is my enemy on the computers we have a work. At least once a month Windows Explorer crashes or freezes, the task bar disappears and I have to reset it, or clicking on windows on the task bar doesn’t bring them back up (I have to Alt-tab just to get to a window that is behind another).
It wouldn’t be a huge issue if it was consistent. I’m fine with dealing with technical issues on a regular basis. The problem is that some problems persist while others show up and disappear. And the problems are different on every computer but are all frustrating to deal with. Its always been a thing with Windows but these days I straight up can’t even do certain tasks at work on certain computers because they simple do not work anymore with Win11
I just created a Restart Explorer shortcut and placed it on my desktop, that opens and closes a cmd window in the process, for these very purposes! I was proud to be able to create that shortcut but that’s about it. I’m not very technologically inclined. Only somewhat.
