The first speaker saying he’s indigenous for being born in Australia is so cynical. Is that a right-wing talking point in Australia? I’ve heard a lot of indigenous people are put off by the term “native” because it’s been extended to include colonizers. Seems like right-wingers want to do the same for “indigenous”.
