    We are here living in this capitalist hellscape, we may as well try to change it no matter how unlikely. Unopposed it will only be worse. Do you want your life to go by, seeing reactionaries and fascists gaining power, people crushed daily, and regret not doing all you could to slow it even a little?

      At no point in the past 200 years has the socialist movement been more debilitated. They control our modes of communication, their propaganda machinery is impenetrable, their surveillance capabilities are something we don’t even know the true power of.

        Despite this, idk if the American empire has never really felt more precarious. Their willingness to just completely discard complete systems of control of is a sign of arrogance and disregard, not strength imo. They may not pay for it today, but it will bite their successors hard in the ass.

        It’s big, but trust in it is incredibly low and it’s very bad at shaping public opinion. Palestine should be an extremely obvious demonstration of that.
