i don’t share your sentiment. sure i noticed a few dickheads but the main benefit on lemmy is there are no “honestly-potatoes276” type accounts with no post history which flood subreddits with engagement & ragebait.
that is a function of being marginal and nobody care about us. if somehow lemmy got popular, there would be lots of bots.
i wonder how it´ll go if lemmy grows, because so far everyone on hexbear and ML goes through a vetting process
