I rented a car in Albuquerque, NM once. The lady at the booth said "one in 3 drivers on the road here is drunk- thats not a statistic- if you can see 2 other cars, watch out! All our roads are 4 lanes wide- try to keep a buffer.
They’re just high these days. At least that’s the only explanation for the absurd number of weed shops
It’s a state where if you are under 21, all you have to do is find someone to be your “Dad” or “Mom” for the night and then any bar can serve you. I was able to drink there underaged because of that.
Most bars will still ask for some form of ID. My parents let me drink with them when I turned 18 and bartenders/servers would almost always check my ID to make sure our last name matched. And it’s up to the proprietors, some bars will refuse.
In Ohio, at least, we won’t server to anyone under 21, even with their parents. The parents have to place the order, recieve the order, and pay for the order. The under can’t do any of those parts or it’s illegal.
That’s the same in Texas

To be fair, #32 is just me.
Wisconsin, where every corner has a bar and a church.
