Once again asking for some money so I can get something to eat
As little as $20 would be awesome.
Venmo only, because I’m being hunted by Apple for my delinquent subscriptions. I’m allthetimesivedied on Venmo.
First of all, thank you, guys.
Second, there are two fundamental reasons I spent it all already:
- I actually just remembered that I still have $20 in my Venmo.
- I was hella hungry.
- Lately, being sent money has become so rare a thing that when I’m sent, say, $10 or something, I immediately go out and knock something off my hierarchy of needs; I don’t know if that’s all I’ll be sent in a day, or what. Today reminded me that it’s worth waiting (someone sent me $20 hours after I usually see interest in a fundraising post fizzle out).

We have been over this countless times. Your behavior is unacceptable and comes from a place of higher privilege than her. You need to shut up and stop bringing drama into the mutual aid comm.
You do not get to devalue one person’s suffering just because you think there are others who are suffering more. Nobody is forcing you to give her money.
