    I don’t understand why I enjoy this film so much. I’m pretty confident that cis, straight white middle aged men weren’t the target market they intended.

      Remember that ceo a few weeks ago who got caught cheating with his secretary at a Coldplay concert by being hit with the kiss cam? Its about that.

      The characters in the meme are from Kpop Demon Hunters. The girls are all demon hunters. The boy is a demon, and the girl is secretly half-demon and hiding it from her demon-hunting friends. They have a very cute toxic romance arc in the movie, because she feels like she can really be herself around him but he’s 100% just using her. The joke is making fun of that.

            Though really I would say their summary was pretty accurate. Maybe not on the details, but overall. It was a pretty good movie - way better than what I expected when I started it. Beautiful, too - especially the cat. I don’t hesitate to recommend it.

              I was bringing a counterpoint on why spoilers can be good, but (incorrectly) edited it based on another comment saying it was inaccurate. Now, i would have read the spoiler anyway…

                Spoilers certainly can be good! However, they should be a choice. Honestly, I probably would have read the spoiler myself, were it one, but I enjoyed the movie particularly because I hadn’t heard of it or its story before my wife asked me to put it on.
