Hello Sopuli,

We have quite a few communities that have been abandoned / moderator has abandoned fediverse, so we are looking for moderators who would like to adopt some of these communities.

For the communities that we don’t find any people to moderate we will add a sticky post with information on how to adopt these communities and hopefully redirect people to an active community that has a somewhat similar purpose/topic.

Meillä on melko paljon yhteisöjä, jotka on hylätty / moderaattori on lähtenyt fediversestä, joten etsimme moderaattoreita jotka haluaisivat ottaa joitakin näistä yhteisöistä hoitaakseen.

Yhteisöihin, joihin emme löydä moderaattoreita, laitamme pystyyn postauksen jossa selitetään miten kyseisen yhteisön voi ottaa hoitaakseen ja ohjaamme postauksessa käyttäjät samankaltaiseen, aktiivisempaan yhteisöön.

      We’d be fine with redirect, but I’ll wait until the discussion in the linked post comes to somekind of conclusion. It seems the fxomt might lock privacy@dbzero and we would preferably not redirect to a locked community :)

      (we will probably redirect to more than one community because I personally follow a few and feel like if you only subscribe to one you’ll miss out). The redirect is mostly for new users afterall!

      Edit: seems like the discussion didn’t end with locking that community on dbzer0, so we will probably mention it as well in the redirect post on sopuli.

          Yeah the whole privacy community consolidation topic seems prettty tough.

          I think in the headline of redirect post we can mention programming.dev since it’s picking up momentum, but we’ll add all the active communities in post body so people can just follow them all if they want and want to keep up with all of the posts for now (i do that currently).
