Consider that it’s known that the hasbara machine includes paying people to post pro-genocide talking points on social media, so a lot of what you see can be people being paid to post that stuff, and some of them might be useful idiots who have heard the lie too many times and have interiorized it. It’s better to assume that every comment section has been astroturfed to shit and that nothing online is organic engagement anymore.
