100% they should do this. If you’re buying GO fares for more than 2 people it’s often cheaper to buy parking.
And all the major stadiums are steps from Union station.
How about raising parking fees and lowering transit fares in general, not just during certain times?
Or removing free street parking and making all transit free?
Buy a ticket to an event, free transit across all GO, Metrolinx, TTC, Presto, UP express…
