Not everyone is stupid and reactionary in as public a way with as large of a following as that person

They only got that following because of people watching them for the cringe, no? If so many people laugh at someone that they become widely known, it seems kind of circular to say, “Well, since they have a large following it’s ok to laugh at them.”

There are much more deserving targets imo.
