      Reminds me of the endless “AMD getting bought out???” posts back when their stock price was $2.30 a share lol.

      Intel has absolutely massive amounts of IP and physical assets. They’d more likely spin off their fabs before being bought out.

        I thought AMD spinning off their fabs was the beginning of the end. Clearly I was wrong.

        Oh yes I’d love for arm to become more common. Since arm is somewhat more open compared to x86, we could see some fierce competition between the different chip manufacturers.
