  • You might say things like:“This is evil, because it’s wrong to…” But I think it wouldn’t be right to describe Israels actions as evil by arguing ethics. The scope of evil from Israel is so utterly inhumane and depraved, that it transcendeds being judged by any standard.

    Utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics, none of these ethical systems can dare to evaluate Israel. Instead, any ethical system, that philosophers propose should first be tested on wether it makes any sense, by checking, if it describes Israel as absolutely evil. That’s like the baseline calibration standard for ethics. Like Hitler used to be. If your ethical system leads you to support Israel in any way, it’s immediately clear, that you need to trash the system and start from scratch.
